Xia wu hao (Good afternoon)! I've known someone who can teach me to speak Mandarin, his name is Hedong but he told me that his English name is Hoda and it pronounce the same way. I'm wondering why do they have to have English name. ...hmmm..
Hoda and me are now hao peng you (good friends) and I'm glad to have friend in another country. He first teach me some phrases and I'm very xingfu (happy) about that.
Last night I've watched a DVD of my favorite Koreanovela Queen Seon Deok and surprisingly it is dubbed in Chinese. I enjoyed that Korenovela and at the same time I got exposed to the Mandarin accent and intonation.
I am starting to learn now and I guess my goal will be realized in no time.
If you think I translated the highlighted Mandarin wrong, you are free to leave comment and correct me. Xie xie :)
